We are excited to announce that the GreenTouch project was showcased at the 3rd International Digital Mental Health and Well-being Conference in Granada, Spain, from May 21-23, 2025. The presentation, titled "GreenTouch: Towards a Nature-Based Intervention," was prepared by Assistant Aija Ozola and Professor Kristīne Mārtinsone of Rīga Stradiņš University’s Department of Health Psychology and Paedagogy. The project introduces an innovative digital tool designed to facilitate evidence-based, nature-based therapeutic interventions that users can perform independently in natural environments. Based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour, the intervention includes ten structured sessions encouraging outdoor activity combined with therapeutic exercises to boost mental well-being. The content development phase has been successfully completed, with prototype development underway at the University of Maribor. Following pilot testing, the GreenTouch digital tool will be accessible to a wider audience, initially targeting university students.
